Veronika, a nurse, comes home to discover that her nine-year-old son, Valentyn, has disappeared. She and her daughter, Lilya, have no idea where Valentyn has been taken or why. They each embark on a quest to find him.

Inspired by real events.

Since February 2022, tens of thousands of Ukrainian children are estimated to have been abducted, and only a few have returned.

Un roman inspiré de faits réels.

Depuis février 2022, des dizaines de milliers d’enfants ukrainiens auraient été enlevés, et seuls quelques-uns sont revenus.
